Sydney-based Richards Stanisich’s Coalcliff House is a relaxed, coastal tackle multi-generational residing. Perched beneath the Illawarra escarpment, the revamped weatherboard dwelling now pairs two A-frame dwellings that keep related but non-public. The workforce saved components of the unique construction, added a brand new higher stage with treetop and ocean views, and wrapped the outside in fire-safe charred timber. Inside, it seems like a contemporary cabin, with heat timbers, copper benches, and reclaimed brick including texture and soul.
